Verification marks explained

How we signal trust on every listing — from a basic business confirmation to full directory endorsement.

Verification marks explained

Three levels of trust — from a basic business confirmation up to full directory endorsement.

PREMIUM VERIFIED ✓✓✓

Level 3 — Directory-confirmed

Business + customer experience + directory

Highest tier. Top, established emergency trades featured by this directory. Strong public track record plus directory endorsement.

VERIFIED ✓✓

Level 2 — Customer experience

Business + customer experience

Business details confirmed and backed by meaningful customer signals (reviews / established presence) — not just a name on a page.

VERIFIED ✓

Level 1 — Business confirmed

Business confirmed

The shop has confirmed its listing details with us (who they are, how to reach them). Starting point after a free public-info listing is checked.

UNVERIFIED

Unverified

Not yet confirmed with the shop

Listed from public information. Business has not confirmed the listing with us yet. Still a real local trade — just not upgraded.

Why this ladder exists

Homeowners need a fast read on who is established. Trade owners need a clear path to stand out without paying a lead marketplace tax. Verification levels do both:

  • For homeowners — more checks = more layers confirmed (business → customers → directory).
  • For businesses — free listing → confirm details with us → customer proof → premium directory placement (no paid claim portal).

What we do not mean

  • Not a government license badge (always verify TDLR / insurance yourself)
  • Not a guarantee of workmanship
  • Not pay-to-rank Yelp theater — Premium is directory endorsement of established emergency trades
